CHANGING OF THE GUARD
The guards goes into the new seasons campaign 2009-10 with it's biggest ever changes, having disbanded itself from the tandridge league and joining the selkent league it hopes to have also disbanded with it it's old rivals and begun a new era in youth football. out experiences of our new league were fruitful when our girls team participated in the selkent 2 years ago and we found the league very welcoming and well organized. We hope that this year in the selkent will bring much more organization to the club as a whole. with more efficient fixture timetable available to us with selkent we can offer a better fixture timetable to our members more in advance.
The commitee have made major improvements withing the infrastructure of the club appointing no less than 6 new board members. This year will see Carole Crowhurst take over fixtures and results, Paul Hewitt will take over as club treasurer, these just two major changes in the commitee panel.
ANOTHER GUARD TO THE ACCADEMY
Issac Nehemie became the latest recruit to the Crystal Palace Accademy, another recruit developed by the Guards we wish Issac well and would like to point out the fact to any palace guard with aspirations of becoming a pro footballer to keep training hard and be as sporting as you can, well done also to the Guards coaching staff.
